About Chris & Partners
Chris & Partners Advocates & Solicitors is a Malaysian law firm led by Dr Chee Hui Bing, a doctor-turned-lawyer. We help individuals, families, doctors and businesses with litigation in medical negligence, defamation, criminal, civil, family and employment matters. Founded in 2010, the firm has its main office in Johor Bahru (Setia Tropika) and offices in Batu Pahat, Ampang and Mont Kiara. We work in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
What we focus on
Our work grew out of Dr Chee's medical career. Medical negligence and medico-legal advice are at the centre of the practice, alongside defamation (including online and social-media defamation), criminal defence and civil litigation. We also act in divorce and family proceedings and employment disputes. We are a litigation practice and do not handle conveyancing.

- Confidential. What you tell us stays private, and we follow the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

Who we are
Dr Chee leads a team of advocates and solicitors who are members of the Malaysian Bar, regulated by the Legal Profession Act 1976. He is a member of the Johore Bar Committee and of the Medico-Legal Society of Malaysia.
Sharing knowledge
We publish plain-language legal guides and case commentaries in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese, and Dr Chee regularly speaks to doctors, hospitals and universities on medico-legal risk.
